We are proud to present Bill Gorby and the Musical Mercenaries, an acoustic trio from the Ohio Valley with strong three-part harmonies. The group performs an eclectic mix of Americana music with roots in folk, bluegrass and old-time country music. Band leader Bill Gorby, center, plays bass, joined by Buck Allemond, right, on acoustic guitar and Jim Simpson, left, on mandolin.

The Copper Creek Band

Taylor Jo & The Copper Creek Band features the combination of awesome lead vocals and skilled musicianship.  With a playlist rooted in rockin country music, this band is the perfect fit for The Strawberry Festival.

Shannon Canterbury is a staple at Project Forward events.  A resident of Martins Ferry and crowd favorite, he specializes in acoutic versions of some of your favorite songs by artists such as Dylan, Seeger, and Springsteen.

The Move Makers

The Move Makers provide a fresh approach to the live music scene. The band members are Pittsburgh's finest and versatile professionals having played with numerous local and national acts. The Move Makers nine-piece band offers a tight rhythm section, powerful male and female vocalists, and a first-class horn section that brings out the heart and soul of music. They cover top 40 songs across all genres from Earth Wind and Fire, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson and Katy Perry.

Project Forward takes pride in finding the best musicians to entertain our festival patrons and the 2019 Strawberry Festival is no exception.  Popular favorites like Bill Gorby & The Musical Mercenaries and Shannon Canterbury joined by new comers Taylor Jo and Copper Creek and Pittsburgh party band The Move Makers promises to make for a wonderfully entertaining day.
 
We recommend bringing your most comfortable outdoor chair and spending all day taking in the sights and sounds.
